Nixory header


Nixory is a free and open source antispyware tool written in Python/PyGTK aimed at removing malicious tracking cookies from your browser. It currently supports Mozilla Firefox, Internet Explorer and Google Chrome. It runs on all OS, including Windows, Linux and MacOSX.

Another release for this month! Some important fixes were applied to the internet explorer scanner (Thanks goes to selmi kheri for submitting this bug) and some minor improvements to the profile auto detection were done as well. (See readme for further informations)

Not a release announcement this time, but just a thank you message for the 50 thousand people who downloaded Nixory. It may not signify a so big number to many, but it is very meaningful to my expectations. New 1.0.2 release available for download. This release fixes occasional active shield crashes and includes automated profile detection for Chromium. It applies a few other minor changes as well.







5.03.2011 Bugfix release 1.0.1 available for download!

New 1.0.1 bugfix release is now available. This version fixes the issue which caused window contents to disappear when the program was minimized with the window close button. For further details please visit the download page.







3.03.2011 New website and Nixory 1.0 released!

As you may have noticed, a lot of things changed here. I designed a new icon for Nixory which you can see on the top of this page and a completely new website to fit its style!
And, last but not least, the new Nixory 1.0 is available for download! This release brings a lot of new major features such as a realtime protection and support for IE and Chrome. Since this is the first version of this series it may be a bit buggy, and if you happen to find any bug please let me know it on the bug tracker. Enjoy!
